The reason you've gotten so many formally constructed movie reviews on this site lately is because I've been assembling an audition packet of sorts to write movie reviews for Cinematical. My first new release review posted over there this morning, for the new Steve Carell flick Dan in Real Life.
There's a new edition of The Write Stuff over there as well, this one answering some of your questions about Writing Partnerships, specifically mine.
I also reviewed another one of my favorite horror movies for Halloween month -- Tremors.
Please check 'em out, comment, support. Much love.
In a hurry today, but the headache is gone, and I am feeling a lot better. I still can't look this lemonade in the eye, but you know? I really am feeling "clean."
Since I am getting in touch with my inner self here, I leave you with a haiku (hai-poo?):
Clean body, clean soul
Can't say same for toilet bowl
I want a sandwich
If you don't mind me asking, what is your process of reviewing movies? Are
you like some who takes a notepad & pen to the theater and jots notes down,
or just unleashes it all when you get back from watching it?
I don't want to get you (or myself) in trouble with Cinematical, in case
the good people of that site pore through the comments here. But
when...let's say, a writer therefore with a high post count, uses "your" to
mean "you're," grammar nazis (like myself) everywhere are a bit turned off.
With that I would not disagree.
